Having towed a couple of 3/4 ton Command cars and 1/2 tracks, I swear I will not tow another car trailer unless it's a Goosneck, on my 1 ton dual wheeled Ford (And this I would like to upgrade to an F600) No matter what trailer/ truck combo you buy, two facts will occur. 1st you will need a bigger outfit in the near future (my hobby is almost to the tank level, currently the German 1/2 Track is 13,000 lbs) And 2d if you buy a reasonably sized car hauler expect EVERY friend you never thought you had to BORROW the damn thing and trash it. The larger trailer means they have to borrow the larger truck with it, so i virtually eliminated the small time borrowers (large lawn mowers to household goods) If you have money, buy the best rig you can, Try to TOW with a load before you commit to purchase, that way you can avoid a lemon.
