The capillary bulb is a direct immersion type. No thermowell is needed.
You will need the hex fitting that screws into the NPT on the side of the head. This has the required ID machine thread and the internal surface for the bulb flange to seal against.
Call VPW. I'm sure they can pull one off one of the many dead engines they have.
