: HELP!
: I am in the process of bringing a '53 M-37 back to life.
: I need advice as to what kind of tires will fit the 16" split rims.
: Getting custom rims to fit newer tubeless tires is out of my budget.
: I've heard that some people put tubes in tubeless tires and mount them (ie: Interco Super Swampers and Gateway Mudders).
: Is this safe? I was going to use something in the 33" to 36" range to help wind down the old six a bit at higher speeds.
: Any advice would really be appreciated!
The Buckshot tires, radial and bias, are only available in load range C. If you want load range D like PW's are supposed to have, try the Gumbo mudder, with the same tread pattern. Regarding 16.5 inch wheels, there was a posting here awhile ago about some one-piece farm wheels by Budd that fit the PW.
