Yeah, all Mopar products had left-hand threads on the driver's side of the vehicle until the '80s. I once had a gorilla at a tire store calmly break off five in a row with an impact wrench before I stopped him, and he never figured it out.
Chrysler did that based upon the theory it made the nuts less likely to loosen up because "on" was against the direction of rotation.
It can be fun for first-timers.
You can knock them out and replace with standard threads if you want.
