probably the biggest problem with the stock design of this thing is the camshaft grind was designed for a hell of a lot of torque at a low rpm. the engine was basically set up for lugging along in the mud at 25 mph. like a tractor,. Infact, the cam design is very much like one in a farmall tractor.
