I started to rebuild my 318 Poly that had that had jumped a
few teeth on the timing chain when I came across a good 14,000
mile 440 for $200. Now I just have to find a big block bellhousing
that is the hydraulic clutch type to make it fit. The whole clutch
system is new; master, slave, lines, clutch, bearing, so, it's
pretty clear why I want to keep the manual tranny. Any help would
be appreciated. I'm in CT so something in the New England area
would be best, but will look elsewhere to find this part if needed.
