Message:		My name is Justin Carr and I have a question for you regarding a truck that I am planning to buy from my friend who has hit hard financial times and is planning to sell it. He is the second owner of a Dodge W200 Power Wagon. It started out as a Church truck and it pretty much sat in the garage and he bought it 10 years ago and it's sat in his garage although he drives it ocassionally. It has just under 20,000 original miles. The truck is 4X4 and completely original and all there. The only thing it's missing is the emblem in the grill. It doesn't have a radio, just heater and wipers and it's a 4 speed with big huge hubs. It has rust on the bottom of the tailgate, underneath where the doors close on each side and some in the bed. Other than that it's completely straight and 100% original. Runs perfect, drives straight and everything is in working order. My question is what should I pay him for this truck? I am going to buy it and he is open to my offer but I want to be fair to him and at the same time get a good truck for a good price. Attached are some pictures to give you an idea of what it looks like. Is it hard to get parts and to get rid of the rust spots and make it completely original? Floors look OK but the mats he has in it have a little rust under them. I want to make it perfect and original and keep it. My Dad had one just like this and it brings back good memories of being able to stay up late at night when I was a young boy and help him shovel walks and stairs while he plowed snow for all the commercial buildings in our town. We also camped out of it in the summers. Can you tell me what it's worth and what I should give him? I can send pictures. I want to go lock it down over the weekend before he talks to someone else.
