Message:		The front is a Dana 44, the rear is a Dana 60. The ring gear size for each model axles is different and that is the closest match they could get without making the pinion to small to be strong enough or too large to fit the housing. No harm no foul and these old 4x4 systems were not designed for dry pavement or high traction conditions.
