Message:   I have a complete 833 setup here. Someone had put it in my swepty. The cutout was on the side of the hump and into the floor board for it. It would be hard to put a boot over it. Not to say something couldn't be done, but it doesn't look like a easy job. Believe me, I know how sharp a pistol grip would look in a swepty. I mentioned in a above post the newer dodges that used the 833 had a plastic cover on the side of the hump for the shifter.
Yes mine is a 70, so the hydraulic thing would be an issue.
I guess right now I'm pipe dreaming, keeping my options open. I always preferred a stick over and automatic.
