Message:   we have a 98 grand cherokee,its got the 4.0 engine,i never lkied the word jeep because it reminded me of the older stuff,you couldnt find parts for or it had ford starters,gm carbs,god only knows what kind of brakes? ,but my best buddy mike told me they wernt like that anymore,so i bought one,and you know what,he was right!!,its a great suv,rides really well for a dual straight axle car with a shortwheelbase,we went to montana last oct. and averaged 21 mpg,mountains and all,it does need new rotors after the mountains tho,still stops,just not smooth when you hit the brakes!
