Message:		any 3rd member will swap with any other 3rd member on a 8.75, however, nothing else -parts wise- will, 64 back to 65 later.... It is possable there were HP axles, but the spline count and axle size should be the same as all other 8.75's at least were the axles fit into the center..... Just pulled a 657 (pre 65 light 3rd member) case out of my 68 truck last year, it was in there when it came to me and was working fine- only reason I pulled it was it was a 2.91 gear set and around town it was sucking too much fuel (plus I had a nice 489 3.55 sure grip setting that went in).....
