Message:   I'd agree with Frank on the wide availability of the
6 bolt [Chelsea?] PTO's.... I can snag them for $50
to $60 BUT..... its the Braden FTD-7 [10 bolt?] PTO,
which attaches to the transfer case, that is moreso
sought after. The FTD-7 is NOT available new anymore.
Also, there are no gaskets available for this PTO
anymore [ask me how I know ....]. I had to tin my
own. I too can buy a Braden LU-2 right now for $300
but this is just for the winch with a broken dog bone
and about 50ft of ratty cable on it. When you add in
the correct frame extensions, shafts, pillow blocks,
PTO, actuator cable, correct spool cable, etc., the
price may surprise you. I came across the whole
shootin match for about $650 [delivered] and would
not sell it for twice that.... its all bolted up to
my 68 W200.... right down to the original front
bumper. I thenk Norm has a pic in his Image Event
files of it
