Message:   On the 904,s and 727,s dip stick most or all say use the mopar fluid,and ive used at times what we had ,even a mix of used trans fluid out of a barrel and filter it in rags.Times were tough when we raced and all the $ went to hp.Ive heard this and that will kill a auto but we have use about anything and prayed it would make it,and it did.Im going to catch slack for this but trans fluid is all oil so who cares ,the trans dont know it.My 5 speed in the 94 ram has to have that synthetic stuff and it doesnt,it was low at 45,000 and its still good at almost 150,000 mile with I know oils are diff,and iive seen a bug run on pure STP oil treatment,hard start but did fine with no more smoke.THE POINT.Its best to use the right oil and if you cant there is oil that will work maybe better,plus how are the factorys going to sell cars that last at the prices they are?There not, they need to sell you parts to survive..............JB
