Jeez, methinks they have greater issues than just gas prices! Everyone IS equal at birth. The choices you make are YOURS. No one forces anyone to choose career paths, spouses, vehicles, jobs, or anything else. We possess what is called "free will" and that is one great thing that separates a free people from the rest of the enslaved world. Arrogant? Hey, if successful life choices make me or anyone else "arrogant", I'm good with that. I've been wiped out in a tornado, had my business wiped out with the same, been shot at in the Middle East, and traveled around the world. Some Americans never travel farther than 50 miles from their home in their entire lives! Again, that is personal choice!
Which brings us back to gas prices. Educate yourself in how the economy and free enterprise works, how government is supposed to function rather than how it does function, and above all, what is the meaning of personal responsibility. You are a free man living in the United States of America. You are responsible for your choices in life. We all make good and bad choices; successful choices and failed choices. How you choose to learn from life's choices is YOUR responsibility, and if it's bad, it's your fault. Life is only as successful as YOU make it. Blaming Big Oil/Government/Aliens from Pluto for life's problems is just a cop-out. |
