Message:   My uncle and cousin both had '63's bought new with the slant in them. They were both yellow and the early ones I have seen were that same yellow. I had a '68 slant that was orange, not to be confused with the faded red of my 383 that could be mistaken for an orange. The '68 was original color and I know that for sure because I got it from a family member of the original owner who it turned out I knew.
