Message:   This question always seems to end with people having engines that don't match the factory color they should have come with.

I'll start. I had a 68 D100 with a 318 that was original to the vehicle and never repainted. It was Orange. I have seen a few other 318 trucks that looked to be the same color.

I don't know if the color could change from Red to Orange with nearly 40 years of use.
