It will spark at the negative terminal for sure. At least if you have current drain. My PW battery has been going dead (again) even though it is only 6 months old. I just tracked it down to my trailer brake controller yesterday. The first time I disconnected the ground I got a pretty good spark. Since we were talking about it I tried both of them and the positive would give about twice the spark but both would do it.That's really the only time I recall sparks on the negative side. When I disconnect now, no spark. Guess I should have been lookin' for that load center.
