Message:		i never did see that you said how cmuch fluid you had in the trans,at least 8 qts to get anything out of it,more than likely 9 or 10,are you checking it with the trans in netrual?,it make a qt or two difference on the dipstick,also possible that you damaged something when you bolted it togeather and couldnt turn the converter,not real high possibilaty,but possible,another thing i have seen make noise is the dust shield on the bottom of the trans being bent and rubbing on the flexplate/converter,will scare the snot out of you!!,but wont hurt anything but your pride a little! hope this helps butch
