Message:   First check the power at the turn signal flasher cannister wires using a simple test lite. You should have one hot going in and one coming out of the cannister flashing the test lite.

Check there's power going up that wire by testing where it enters bottom of steering column, and if there's power going up you should probably pull the steering wheel and check out signal unit. Sometimes the wire can get mis-routed and get sawed in half by steering wheel action or get cut in half down at bottom of steering column.

I don't know what they did for fuses on that, might check fuses first?
