Message:   Thanks, Trey. The crank is held tightly with a bolt through the engine stand mount into the crank flange. Maybe it say in the Arizona sun too long. I did heat up the bolt to break down any locktite after the first unsuccessful go 'round. I think that this one is on tighter than the average.

So, does the machine shop bore the guide and put in a bronze helicoil and rebore back to stock? Always thought this would be cool. Any idea of cost on that?

You planning to get up this way sometime?
