Message:   After replacing the seals and front bushing on a 904 tranny I think I am actually ready to put the tranny in my D100 behind a slant six. Once I get it in, is the best way to service it with fluid to put in about four quarts and then start the engine with tranny in neutral and let it idle? I was thinking this would allow the pump to fill the converter, and then I could slowly add fluid til I get it fully serviced. Sort of sneak up on the full mark, so to speak. Is that how you do it, or am I all wet? davey
