Message:   Oh, don't misunderstand my comments, they aren't copying the Japanese, just using them as a benchmark to jump ahead of them.
For the last few years Chrysler's have had the hard plastic, spartan dashes that the Mercedes have. The Mercedes is over rated junk, always has been...
Chrysler is offering a new type of material in lieu of plastic that looks and feels much softer and refined.
