Message:   Ok, sounds like pull tranny down, then engine with bell attached. then compare flywheels as to starter throw-out distance with the pressure plate and clutch disc bolted up. Prior to final assembly I better check outer measure re: circumforance of flwheel,.. also teeth count as to mesh.

: It sounds like there could be a 3 hole vs. two bolt starter as well as perhaps a flywheel mesh.? Gordo

PS. Three speed tranny by hand is a snap to pull seperatly as I bought this 61 with tranny out. Quite lightweight even with emergency brake drum.
