Message:		Jimmie. See if you can get Stratopore filters for your engine. They filter a lot better than standard filters. Standard filters black the oil on my diesel about the first time it is started. With a Stratapore it is about 2,000 miles before it turns a bit black. Huge difference and not much more expensive than standard. Even with a bypass filter I would use them. Some of the guys on DTR (yeah, I c u over there raising cain. ) are using Frantz filters which use a toilet paper roll for a filter. Dad had one on the PW since almost new. It did keep the oil very clean. That can't be a bad thing. RR
