Message:		Weelllll, I appreciate it Russ, and normally I'd agree with your thinking. There's one difference from what we're used to: diesel soot. That really junks up the oil big time, and in a hurry. The bypass system re-routes part of the oil and super cleans it, then feeds back into system. Doesn't disturb normal oiling and filtration. On those Roadway trucks I would imagine they already have bypass oilers in them to be getting that kind of miles between changes! That's 5 to 10 times longer than the normal over-the-road oil change interval! Many trucks come with bypass filtration installed from the factory [Cummins and Cat] so that may be the case there. Turns out I've already talked myself into it but thanks to all for your suggestions! I appreciate the help.
