Message:   Just talked to Firm Feel. According to Dick they "...use the chassis lube to refill all Saginaw boxes." Said they contacted a lubrication dealer and that's what was recommended so they used it. Also said he couldn't believe that the 85-W90 lube is what is the Mopar spec lube. That means they never referred to standard Chrysler Corp. specs to find out what lube goes in Mopar boxes!

He offered to take it back and clean it out after I asked him how in the blazes I'm supposed to get this junk out!?! Sure, no problem, I'll just undo my new steering column, dash mods, new Borgeson steering joint, screw up all the paint on all of that and my frame and steering gear box, pull the gearbox, catch it on the freight and be left with a truck out of comission for 10 days! NO PROBLEM! Or I'll try to flush it out with something that doesn't eat the seals, ruin my paint, and screw up the box then refill, hoping residues from flushing agent don't breakdown new lube and destroy bearings. Where's the smiley icon for a maniac with baseball bat in one hand and a sawed-off in the other?

Had nothing but hassles every step of the way on 2 current projects and this just shovels on a whole big stinky pile of....! Thanks, Firm Feel, thanks a lot.

Still just can't believe it.
