Message:   The last DeSoto was a 1961 car built in late 1960. The last Studebaker-built car was a 1966 Daytona coupe, built in Ontario, Canada. Note - This includes Avantis, which were made after that, but NOT by Studebaker.

It's not a trick question.

I know the feeling when a car plant leaves. The OKC GM plant closed a few months back after switching from Chevy Malibu production to GMC/Chevy/Isuzu SUV production (stupid move on the part of GM!!!)

Now, the Chicoms are planning to build...guess what...MG sports cars in Ardmore, OK, halfway between DFW and OKC. No, they are not the same 1981 MGB's that we last saw, but an all-new sports roadster and a sports coupe.

I don't car how many jobs it promises - the Chinese are our enemy and having them build a car plant in Oklahoma just turns my stomach! This from a society where most people don't drive and wouldn't know an MG from a Peterbilt!
