Message:   No, my engine controller is on the side of the air cleaner also. They don't call it lean burn, it's called ASC, Automatic Spark Control in the service manual. The controller also controlls the feedback carburator based on input from the oxygen sensor. Until the engine is warm it runs on a set of pre-programmed spark and fuel curves. That's why I thought maybe your lean burn setup was similar. I get good mileage, around 18 city, 21-22 highway.
