Message:   We have an '02 that had the ball joints replaced under the recall. I only had it done because of those stories. It actually had to do with the joints wearing out but I thought ours were still plenty good. That was confirmed by the tech that did the work. He said he had done quite a few of them and not a single joint was bad. I think Chrysler got a real bad rap on that. Not so on the Ram track bars. They don't last worth beans.
