I hope that Cerebus will re-think the 5 star dealership criteria. There are some 5 star dealers around me that I wouldn't go to for an oil change because of their sucky attitude, and their customer (dis)service.
To me a 5 star dealership is not how many cars and or trucks sold, how many $$ in parts & service sold, or even the total dollar volume of everything combined, It is how you are treated by the folks at the dealership, how happy you the customer is after the sale, and every time you go into that dealership it isn't how much you spend but how satisfied you are with the product, the service, and you walking out of the dealership pleased with the transaction that took place and also with the way that you were treated while you were there, and if you had a problem with your vehicle was the problem resolved?
The amazing thing is the Dodge dealer in Lakeview Michigan, population 1,400, is the only dealer left in town
In 1914 when they started in business there were 14 different automobile dealerships in Lakeview, now Bollinger's is the only one left.
As I said in my earlier post the original owner knew both of the Dodge Brothers.
I can only hope that Chrysler leaves this dealeship alone. They are a 5 star dealership as far as I am concerned.
A really neat part of their showroom are the plaques from Chrysler for 25, 40, 50, 60, 75, and 80 years of being a dealer, I would really like to see the place where they store their parts, I would guess it to be possible that there may be some nos Dodge Brothers parts.
