Message:   All v8 engines 61 and earlier 8 bolt cranks
Slants have 6 bolt from intro....
62 and later v8 go to the 6 bolt crank
in light trucks and cars
Heavy truck engines retain 8 bolt cranks after
61 (and the late Hemis).

Slant flywheels should bolt to the v8 6 bolt
cranks but for one offset hole if the fly is
from a 67 or later slant (hole can be slotted
or closed and rebored).
The early (pre 67) slant fly will have a smaller
centering flange than the v8 engines and will
not bolt to a v8 crank and line up right (there
will be slop that will/can cause vibration).
