Message:   The W300/D300's used straight frame while those on 100/200 series didn't and bigger axles (usually Dana/Spicer 70's) while W100/W200's used mostly Dana 44's and Dana/Spicer 60's. The W300's also had 6 lug wheels for a while W100/W200 had 8 lug wheels. The cab on the 300 series is also different than those on the 100/200's. I have really only worked on W100/W200/W300's from 1961 to 1965 so I don't know exactly if all the info is true on the later 60's, like 69-71. Hope this helps.
