Message:   The small springs on the Farmall flathead can be compressed with a lawnmower spring compresure.If the valve is sticking you should see it with the plate off.Also its real cool to watch it in action with the low idol speed.I had a 1940 farmall A model that ran great for a 60+yr machine.I dont know for sure if its true but Farmall went out of bussiness because there tractors didnt need many or any replacement parts(high dollar stuff) for the first 10yr of use.Seems they shot there self in the foot by building to good of a product.............JB
