The Huge problem with the parts are they out there but thier isn't the connection to get the info, and another problem with the trucks is the owners, They get the 40+yr old truck and still try to work it, its past that, then they don't want to spend money on it for they bought it because it is tuff and they can bang them around and who cares??? its just an old truck and in most of their minds not worth fixin, in fact let it go, 61-71 trucks Have done their time the work days are over, unless its for the newer type hauling that doesn't reall require a truck, There are SOME owners who like the trucks for their styling, and THEY will spend money on them, and these and more to come have gotten GOOD REVIEWS AND PRAISE in magazines, Sweptline trucks have 1 big enemy THERE CHEAP OWNERS, who won't get up off the cash, and alot of the owners don't even care about meeting with other owners and exchanging ideas, parts, and having a good time, THEY ALWAYS HAVE EXCUSES,(read Camp Dodge on the front page) on why they can't do it, the EXCUSE of high gas prices started when the price of gas went over $1.00, DAH Everyone knows old trucks have never gotten good gas mileage, for thats not why they were built. THESE POOR TRUCKS DESERVE A BETTER RETIREMENT |
