Message:   Norm's headers are a freakin' work of art! Like I've said many times before, we Swepty owners are a cheap bunch. Hell, I had two nearly perfect gas tanks - one '67, one '71, that I advertised and couldn't GIVE them away, so when my '67 CS cab went to the crusher, so did the tanks.

Another example is the sliding rear windows. The sole manufacturer of them is stopping production of them. That doesn't bode well for anyone wanting more obscure parts repopped for the Sweptys if no one is willing to pay a fair price for the resulting product.

Jim's mirror arms are another example, but of a wrongly-executed product. They might be well-built, but they look and are wrong! The arms are too big and most guys are not willing to pay the price for an incorrect part, and WOULD be willing to spend the money (or more) on the RIGHT part.

If I had a Poly-engined Swept, I'd have a set of Norm's headers in my truck, and I absolutely HATE headers on a street vehicle!

The repop market for these trucks is about zero. You gotta get what you can, face it. People fail to understand what it takes to make ANY part, whether it's rockers, tailgates, window rubbers, whatever. And then they think that the NEW part should be just a few dollars. Ain't gonna happen (review Economics 101 if this is confusing).

Merry Christmas!
