Message:   I read in a coin magazine where a guy had about 50 Ike dollars and went to the bank to change them in and the teller, manager, and the bank president all concluded that they were not real US coins and called the police. One of the officers was into coin collecting and had to reassure the bank people that the coins were real and issued by the US mint. Apparently none of the people were alive or paying attention throughout the 70's.
