Message:   a cracked frame!

back in the early 80s the 64 HPP had a crack in the frame. it was caused by the left front spring bumper being rammed into the engine frame stub (probably from being drive so hard by young teenagers )

the crack started at the hole for the spring bumper and then lead upward and stoped at a hole 3/4 up the frame.

this let the weight of the truck spread the spring out and open the crack up to about 1/4 inch at the bottom.

the spring appeared flat even with the shackles spread out. weird.

frame is gusseted and reinforced now...
