Message:   The Kobalt tools are made by the same American Co. that makes Craftsman tools Danaher.
I'm not sure that either of their tool boxes are made by American companies but the Kobalt boxes are better built than the Craftsman boxes. Heavier gauge and better bearings.
The best and formerly the cheapest were the boxes in my first post, Hammerhead. Their early boxes were US made and are stainless steel, the highest quality bearing and hydraulic lifts on the doors and lids. They are better quality than Snap-on, the Snap-on boxes are better quality than the Craftsman boxes.
Go and look at them all feel them, roll the drawers in and out, look at the gauge, the finish, etc.
