Anyway, I recently picked up another "project truck". I kinda wanted a dump truck for hauling firewood, and it might as well be a Dodge. So a 1974 W200 followed me home a week ago. I shoved it into the shop a few days ago, and starting looking over my prize.

The engine is a 383, with a 4 speed behind that. divorced 205, and a dually rear axle. Front axle is stock stuff. The intermediate shaft is the current mr. fixit. I had to order a combination U-joint for it due to some rather odd sized yokes. Okay.... Once I get that in there, I can see if the clutch will work. The engine runs pretty well, even thou the wiring is a nightmare (I can fix that). Brakes are open to debate, and the cab is pretty well rusted out. Fenders are bashed, but the hood is the straightest piece of the truck if you don't count the flatbed. The lift worked well up to a point (low on fluid, probably leaks).

I figure that eventually I will get it going pretty well, and hauling a load of wood is gonna be easier on it than hauling rock and dirt.

Other than that, it is a cherry!!
