Message:   I'm all for clean air like the rest of us here, but the problem that I see with this program is, it's like most other government knee-jerk programs. It's not thought out well and probably proposed by some politician who will now bragg that he came up with a program to save the planet from those polluting old vehicles. What if you happen to have an older vehicle with a carburetor. You have just started it up and left for work on a cold morning, and the choke is still partially closed. This would also apply to a fuel injected vehicle. It won't be running at it's cleanest until fully warmed up but a random scan as you drive by won't tell them that. It's like the red-light cameras that are now installed all around where I live, it's just another money and power grab by politicians and another loss of personal freedom.
