Indian automaker Mahindra, once a licensee of Jeep, will be assembling a new series of diesel pickups at a plant in Ohio, from Indian parts. The arrangement is not yet finalized, but Mahindra will reportedly contract with an American truck-maker for assembly. This may be the basis of recent rumors around talks between Mahindra and Chrysler focusing on Jeep.
