Look at the Chrysler line-up without Jeep.
An aging, ghetto cruiser called the 300. Slow selling and expensive Viper, a Nitro and a Caliber, both built on Jeep assembly lines, faltering Mini-Vans and a truck that is being transformed into a clone of the slow selling ghetto cruiser 300, by the 300 designer, who is just as out of touch with Jeep and Dodge buyers as the Germans were.....Dakota sells are slipping, Chrysler needs the Jeep truck to save that segment. Durango sales are less than stellar, Sebring....?
That leaves an aging Charger and Avenger that is undergoing a total redesign after it's first year.....
Jeep is the glue that holds Chrysler together, if they sell it, Chrysler is gone.
