Message:		Ben, The problem with the 4BT is that it is TALL, maybe too tall for a lowered D series, although Terry's has a pretty good stance with the 6BT (same block with two more cylinders). A D may be OK, the W's have clearance issues with the front axle/differential. The newer, cleaner and quieter diesels are much smaller and lighter and mostly in V-6 format, althought the 2.8 Jeep diesel is an in-line 4 and the Sprinter was a 5. All new Sprinters have a V-6 diesel.
