Message:		OK Butch here's what I found, the poly 318 A oil pan is 1 3/4" LONGER than the 315 pan. The bolt count is the same but it will not work on the 315. The depth of the two pans isn't that much different but are shaped a bit different in the sump area. Hope this sheds some light on the subject.
