Message:   Rob: I'm sure you and your Dad have already tried most everthing, but here is my expiereance. My neighbor who diagnosis all my 68 W200 problems in about five minutes or less helped me with the same problem. He had me spray the whole outside of the cable with lubricant. After a bit it freed it up. Have you noticed a zerk fitting mid way on that cable? The fitting faces up. How dow you grease that? Say hi to your Dad. See you at the PW rally.
