Message:   I guess i'd better get rid of my 205 transfer case because Fords and chevys use them. Better get rid of the Dana front axle too since some Fords and Chevys use them too. The point is that no vehicle made doesn't have parts that are used by other makes. I go to my local parts strore and buy a wheel cylinder for a Dodge. It's made by some company and the same cylinder fits some Fords and chevys. I get a rotor for my Dodge and it's made by the same company that makes rotors for every other brand of car. If it's a rotor that just sliips on over the lugs that same rotor might fit other brands. Does anyone think that the places that make this stuff say "this is for a Dodge so make it better"? I have a Ford branded steering box in my truck and I'm extremely glad I do.
Robin, aren't you going to use a Toyota steering box on the truck that you are building?
