Message:   Look at these, at the Dodge-Link, to get an ideal of the types and differences. Use an M-2 or Cobalt type jobbers bit, not a multipurpose bit, any bit that says "works in wood, plastic and metal" is a homeowners bit and not suited for drilling in high strength steel. As a rule I don't buy bit sets but the specific sizes that I need, as I need them. Sets don't last long as they are usually just 'high speed' bits that are not up to the task and sets of REAL drill bits would set you back about $125. Even good bits don't last forever unless you are experienced and an expert at sharpening.
