Message:   I will second the other Russ' opinion. I, too, was there in those years and ALL of the pickup manufacturers were pretty poor about quality. The feller down the road from me that owns my old '63 425/409/4 speed Impala has a late 60's/early 70's Chev pickup he has chopped the top on and lowered. When I stopped to visit several years back I mentioned about the poor cab fit on my PW. He said when he chopped the top on the Chevy he went through a lot of contortions to make it right. It was pretty out of whack also. Said all of them were not very good back then. He owns All American Classics, Inc (specializes in 50'-70's muscle cars) and his Dad owns the body shop right next door so I am guessing he likely has a pretty good idea about what he is telling me.

Dodgeguy, if you have one that has perfect fit and finish like you say then ya better hang on to it 'cause you most definitely have a 1 of NONE.
