Message:   Brakes, Drum brakes, I completely replaced, (all new parts none rebuilt) my brakes, drums, everything including the retainer pins, master, I mean everything, $638.00 I have a full pedal still (as Norm and others know, this was back in 2001) and I never have to pump the brakes, I could even tow a trailer and not worry about it, yes they are drum, and not Power, not to say disc aren't better but just to clearify your previous post, drum brakes will stop your truck, if I had power brakes I wouldn't even consider swapping to disc, I had power drum brakes on previous cars and they stoped the same distance and disc (almost) if you have to pump your brakes you have air in the lines or, just like happened to me after putting on all new parts, fittings at the distubution valve (some call it proportioning valve) would allow air in, I'm not worried about the stopping power of my truck
