Message:   Did the pan survive?
I blew up a built 360 in full acceleration once....hill climbing in the Glamis Dunes. One connecting rod froze on the crank, the rod stopped pivoting and began to rotate, it rotated out the side of the piston, out the side of the cylinder, out the side of the block, cut the pan in half and lodged into the block skirt on the opposite side. From 4,400 rpm to 0 in .32 seconds!!! That was pretty impressive (and expensive!) too!
